Wooden single-family house in province of Bergamo

Villa Zoe

In Almenno San Bartolomeo, just a few kilometres from Bergamo, LignoAlp has realised a modern and sustainable villa in timber frame construction.

The villa has a ground floor on which all the living areas of the house are distributed: open and closed spaces, harmoniously in tune with the landscape. The load-bearing structure in wood has a solid concrete base. The architecture, with its clear style, defining colours and open areas, stands out from the surroundings, but at the same time the large windows integrate the building with the colours of the surroundings and the landscape. The use of wood allowed for creative shapes and wide openings in the architecture and is also continued in the interior. The furnishings are mainly made of natural materials and make the building harmonise with nature. Its abstract architectural form brings organic lightness to the villa.
