Wooden roof in South Tyrol

Contemporary pitcher roof

The modern roof is an interpretation of a traditional pitched roof and its typology responds to the surrounding buildings.

In 2020, LignoAlp realised part of the exterior walls on the top floor and the roof with a load-bearing structure made of glulam and cross-laminated timber. The cantilevered pitched roof protects the terrace below from the weather and provides the bedrooms on the upper floor with the necessary sun protection on the south-facing façade. The private house designed by Arch. David Stuflesser is located in Brixen in South Tyrol.
