Wooden façade support in the province of Bolzano

White wave for the headquarters

Futuristic: Durst Group SpA, an international excellence, has expanded its headquarters in Brixen/Bressanone, focusing on high-impact façades, and LignoAlp contributed to their construction.

A floating "wing" and a six-storey tower with a height of 35 metres became an unmistakable architectural landmark in the Brixen industrial zone. The structure creates recognition value primarily due to its "pixelated" façade. The 2,350 m² metal exterior façade made of powder-coated aluminium sheet is characterised by window elements in various sizes that are illuminated with 850 LEDs. This lighting skilfully emphasises and underlines the dynamics of the pixel façade. The vertical metal façade was planned, manufactured and installed by façade construction specialists Frener & Reifer GmbH. LignoAlp realised the substructure of cross-laminated timber to which the building envelope was attached.
